01Who we are

Kheldim Ethics is a competitive decision-making game published under the Kheldim master brand and served from ethics.kheldim.com. The game and its scenarios are curated under the professional guidance of a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and aligned to the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) Code of Ethics.

The current beta is delivered from Nepal for players connected with the FinT Learning Hub and invited institutions.

02Who can play

You must be 16 years of age or older to create an account. When you sign up we ask you to confirm this, and we record the confirmation alongside your consent to the Privacy Notice. If you're under 16, please don't create an account.

The beta is currently open to Nepal-based players. You may access it from other jurisdictions, but Nepali law applies (see Section 09).

03Your account

You need an account to play. You can sign up with email + password or use the magic-link (passwordless) option. Whichever route you pick, you agree to:

04How you may use the game

Play. Compete. Reflect. Share your Professional DNA card with pride. That's the intent.

Do not:

— Reasonable use

The scenarios are simulations. In real life you have context we don't. If a game scenario reminds you of a real situation you're facing, please treat that as a prompt to think — not as instructions.

05Content, decisions, and intellectual property

Ours

Scenarios, characters, dialogue, dimension frameworks, the "Professional DNA" model, illustrations, and the brand assets are ours (or licensed to us). You may not republish or resell them.

Yours

Your decision history, your Professional DNA profile, and any personal choices you make in-game are yours. You can export or delete them at any time — see Section 07 and our Privacy Notice.

When you export your DNA to share on social media, the underlying data is yours; the card template and Kheldim branding remain ours. You can share the card as-is; please don't strip our branding off it.

06What Kheldim Ethics is NOT

Kheldim Ethics is a game. We designed it that way on purpose. Specifically:

— Explicit boundaries

Kheldim Ethics is not for grading, hiring, credentialing, employment screening, or performance evaluation. Do not use it to assess a real person for real consequences. Institutional dashboards (when we build them) will show aggregate cohort insights only — never individual scores.

If an institution or employer asks you to use your Kheldim scores as a formal assessment, that use falls outside these terms and we do not endorse it. Individual dimension scores are a private reflection tool.

07Ending your account & data export

You can end your account at any time. When you do:

We may end your account (with reasonable notice where possible) if you materially breach these terms or use the game in a way that harms other players or the platform.

08Disclaimers & liability

The game is provided as-is, on a best-effort basis. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available. We're in beta.

Nothing in the game constitutes legal, accounting, tax, audit, or professional advice. The scenarios reflect a designer's best attempt at realistic dilemmas but they are not tailored to your circumstances. Consult a qualified professional for any real-world decision that matters.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability to you arising from your use of the game is limited to the amount you've paid us for the game (which, for the beta, is zero).

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we make a material change we'll bump the version number at the top of this page, update the effective date, and — where the change affects your rights — ask you to re-accept the next time you sign in. Older versions are kept for reference; ask us if you'd like a copy of the version you originally accepted.

— Note

These terms are written in plain language on purpose. They're not legal advice to you, and they don't replace what a qualified lawyer might draft for a wider launch. If you're an institution considering using Kheldim Ethics in a formal setting, please reach out first.
